IFRS 14 Regulatory Deferral Accounts
IFRS 14 is an optional standard made available to first-time adopters of IFRS only. Soon to be replaced by the new standard!
During his US Congress Speach, president Trump mentioned "the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of."
I could not help to feel the same about IFRS 14 Regulatory Deferral Accounts.
My thought was unjust. Why should I consider my own ignorance to apply as a general rule?
Actually, plenty of people had heard of IFRS 14 AND of Lesotho....although the interested groups might not necessarily be the same.
